Role Description
We are currently hiring MBBS Duty Doctors and Emergency Doctors to join our growing multidisciplinary clinical team.
As an MBBS Duty Doctor, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, perform clinical assessments, monitor admitted patients and work closely with consultants to ensure continuity of care across departments.
As an Emergency Doctor, you will be responsible for the rapid assessment, diagnosis and stabilisation of patients presenting with medical, surgical and trauma emergencies, ensuring timely interventions and seamless coordination with specialists.
Both roles require strong clinical judgement, compassion and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment while delivering safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department and inpatient wards.
* Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and initiate appropriate medical management.
* Stabilise critically ill patients and coordinate timely referrals and admissions.
* Assist consultants in patient evaluation, treatment planning and ongoing clinical management.
* Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
* Respond promptly to medical emergencies and ensure adherence to established clinical protocols.
* Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality patient care.
* Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethical medical practice and compassionate care.
Qualifications & Skills
MBBS Duty Doctor
* MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
* Valid Karnataka Medical Council / National Medical Commission registration.
* Strong clinical assessment, patient management and documentation skills.
Emergency Doctor
* MBBS with M.D in emergency medicine or Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (FEM) or an equivalent qualification preferred.
* Valid Karnataka Medical Council / National Medical Commission registration.
* Sound knowledge of emergency medicine, trauma care and acute patient management.
Desired Skills
* Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations and emergencies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work across rotational shifts.
* A compassionate, ethical and patient-centred approach to healthcare.
Work Schedule
* Full-Time position.
* Candidates should be willing to work rotational shifts, including day, evening, night, weekend and holiday duties, based on departmental requirements.
* This is an on-site role based at Cardea Superspeciality Hospital, Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
